A workshop helper noticed that the women in rural India were suffering from a terrible affliction and that nobody was doing anything about it. Despite facing rejection from the same women who's lives he wanted to transform, Arunachalam Muruganantham created and designed a sanitary napkin-making machine that would change their lives forever.
