In Yet Another Incident Of Gang-Rape In Uttar Pradesh, Two Sisters Have Been Gang-Raped By Three Men. The Incident Happened In The Siyapur Village Of The Etah District In Western UP.
Police said that the girls, both teenagers, were abducted by the rapists, who took the girls to a nearby jungle and raped them. The incident happened on Thursday.
The family of the girls later lodged a complaint and the three accused were arrested. The medical examination confirmed that the sisters were indeed raped.
As Uttar Pradesh, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav is facing severe criticism from all quarters for deteriorating law and order situation in the state, he and his family are making several callous comments.
Earlier this week, Akhilesh talked about biased reportage by the media and said that the media should conduct a "google search" to determine that rape cases do not just take place in his state.
"When such incidents occur it is publicised a lot... such incidents don't occur only in UP and if I give you statistics across the country you will again ask me questions. It's Google era. If you go online and check you will see where else such incidents occur," he told reporters on Tuesday.
